Overview
The Media Router 8500 (CMR-8500) is a next generation IP Encapsulator. The CMR-8500 provides a Gigabit Ethernet (GE) input port and an Asynchronous Serial Interface (ASI) output port for the encapsulation of IP datagrams using ISO/EC 13818-6 Multiprotocol Encapsulation (MPE).
